LegislationThe role of the Legislation Sub-Committee is to review and prepare responses on behalf of "The Forum" to any Federal and State Government calls for submissions regarding proposed changes to Federal and State legislation that may impact the Credit profession/industry. Members of this Sub-Committee have considerable experience and knowledge of law and legislation affecting credit issues and continually monitor Federal and State Governments for the issue of 'discussion' papers (white/green) seeking submissions on proposed changes to legislation. This Sub-Committee is also charged with identifying and recommending possible changes to legislation that "The Forum" can submit for consideration to Federal and State Governments in the hope that by highlighting problems and issues the relevant Government might consider changes to the legislation. Chairperson: Anna Taylor MICM | EducationThe quarterly meetings of "The Forum" afford an opportunity for Members to network and exchange their credit experience and knowledge with other Members. The Education Sub-Committee is responsible for encouraging the Members to freely discuss issues with other Members. At the same time, it is also responsible to suggest suitable topics and recommend (and obtain) suitable speakers from outside "The Forum" to address the Members on a broad range of credit-related topics. MembershipThe Membership Sub-Committee is responsible for reviewing the suitability of nominations for membership of "The Forum" submitted by a Member and making formal recommendation to "The Forum" regarding the nomination.
